The Moral Code X rock band

Moral Code X is a unique phenomenon! For over 35 years, they have been entrenched among Russia’s most popular bands. On 19 February, they will perform their super hits: “I Choose You”, “Early Snow”, “Night Whim”, “Where Are You?” and many others are to be sung at Boomerang Casino at 21:00.

The story of the band goes back to 1989, when poet and musician Pavel Zhagun decided to form a band performing a mix of rock, jazz, punk and funk, with lyrics that are both witty and philosophical. In the autumn of that year, Zhagun assembled the first lineup and engaged Sergey Mazayev as the band’s front man. It is Mazayev who creates the atmosphere of openness and warmth at the band’s concerts, while pepping up the audiences.

Just like several decades ago, Moral Code X is not afraid to experiment. The band made disco rock and rock’n’roll popular; they released the smash hits “Good-bye, Mom!” and “Early Snow” and totally changed their image. Today, fans love Code X for their rugged, yet intellectual image and for their touching, lyrical songs. 

The band, with its front man Sergey Mazayev, always demonstrate impeccable musical taste and consummate professionalism. What surprises are in store for the audience on 19 February?
