Alexey Glyzin embarked on his singing career back in the Soviet times and performed with several bands: Samotsvety, Dobry Molodtsy, Ritm; afterwards, he launched his solo career. In 1989-1993, he won awards at the Song of the Year competition on television. His songs “You’re Not an Angel,” “Winter Garden,” “Late Night in Sorrento,” “Freedom or Prison,” “Letters from Afar.” He won the Chanson of the Year award for the song “He and She” he performed together with Valeria. He continues to be active on the music stage giving concerts and regularly touring Russia.
