The results of the SILVER MERCURY Prize in the regions of the Southern and North Caucasus Federal Districts were summed up in Sochi. The award is given for the best communication projects implemented in these territories. This year, the creative development of the Boomerang casino, the Stars show, was among the winners. According to the results of the professional voting, the tribute project won a gold award in the nomination "Best Performance Project". The jury noted not only the artistic component, but also a systematic approach to the formation of a new cultural tradition in Sochi.
The Stars Show: a new entertainment format at Rosa Khutor
The Zvezda tribute show, an author's project of the Boomerang Casino in the Rosa Khutor resort, is implemented as a monthly series of free performances embedded in the Cosmic Jackpot draw with a prize fund of 10,000,000 rubles. These are not one-time concerts, but a repeatable performance, a product that forms a stable tradition of cultural leisure.
The format is based on performances by artists recreating the images and repertoire of legendary performers from the Russian and foreign scenes. The emphasis is on a detailed immersion in creativity: vocal style, stage image, musical accompaniment – everything is subordinated to the task of conveying the spirit of the original. At the same time, the project combines live music, gastronomy and service, offering guests a full-fledged scenario for recreation and entertainment in the Rosa Khutor resort.
Recognition of the professional community
The Silver Mercury Award is not the only professional recognition of the tribute show. Earlier, the Stars show was also awarded the international award in the field of travel communications "RUPOR", where it won in the nomination "Event communications: events for consumers and mass audiences". Both awards record the successful integration of gambling infrastructure into the region's broad tourism agenda.
Infrastructure and service
The venue where the tribute show "Stars" is being implemented operates around the clock. The Boomerang restaurant offers a menu of Russian, European and Japanese cuisine, as well as a bar menu with a wide selection of cocktails and drinks. Large-scale prize draws are regularly held for guests, and free training tables on Russian poker, blackjack, and roulette are available.
Experts note that such creative projects are changing the perception of gambling zones: they are no longer perceived as highly specialized venues and begin to work as centers of attraction for any audience.
